Hi Kent,

Yeah, what some folks won't do to keep their corrector plates dry.  :-)  I
see the Kendrick heaters advertised quite a bit (the ones with the heating
elements that look like tape and wrap around the front of the scope tube),
but I don't recall seeing the hot-air blower types in astronomy magazine
ads.  Maybe they're just not as popular -- large current draw, risk of
localized overheating, etc?  Don't know for sure.  Does your place stock the
heating-tape-style heaters?  What do these typically sell for, and how does
the price compare with the hot-air types?  (I think Orion sells the
heating-tape style in various sizes for around $40 each.)  I've never seen
either of these advertised in photography magazines, but it seems like it
might be useful, even to those who don't do astrophotography.
