Bob - thanks for taking the time to comment.

You're correct, this is a crop. I've shown other images from this shoot, all 
full frame & have always felt headshots could stand by them selves. I 
wondered if some people had an aversion to seeing the raw impact of 
survival. I have some friends that won't even view these images knowing the 
subject.
I delibrately placed the wolf where I did to include a little of the rocky 
river, so he didn't appera to out in oprn water.

I post the full frame of this in a little while.
