Might also have something to do with the E-3 being generally
outperformed by the 40D and A700, which both deliver superior High ISO
performance, as good or better AF and 5-6 fps. The E-3 is comparable
to these 'semi-pro' bodies, not the D300 it's priced against (which
stomps the E-3 in pretty much every regard except for sealing in-body
IS). Oly can say what it wants but the E-3's real competition is the
so-called 'Semi-Pro' bodies at the $1300 pricepoint.
