I think ALL DSLR mfgrs are going to offer some or at least one high end FF
models
eventually, its only a matter of time. Increasing the sensor
size is the only really significant way left to increase PQ markedly.

Not anytime soon, as the D3x won't surface until August at the earliest. And
that would be a MAJOR change for Nikon, who's never used a non-Nikon
designed sensor in a single-digit body. Frankly, I doubt we'll see it in the
D3x. We may see it in the FF version of the D300 that's rumoured though.
