Yeah, their production rate is very deliberate in the case of their "pro" units. I mentioned to him initially that for my type of shooting I'd wait for the "Fine Art" version.(more pixel rich). He does some wild life stuff, shoots air shows and authors some great coffee table books and is a busy lecturer. One of his earlier books you may have seen, "Sled Driver". He has done many air shows as a passenger in the solo planes. Blue Angles and a few others whose name I don't recall at the moment. His name is (Colonel) Brian Schul, SR-71 pilot, who retired from the air force while stationed here in Northern California and has remained in the area. Nikon has been his cockpit companion forever. Says he can get sick all over it and while difficult to hold on to, comes through every time. He feels the AF speed will be a help. He now shoots with a couple A2X's, one of which he will keep when he adds a D3. We've done some photo jaunts and exhibited together. Always pleasant I'll pass along your comments if OK.
