Looking for an opinion or twenty. My Super-Tak 55/2 finally went down for the dirt nap. There's a fungus among us. And the little ring that has distance markings on it is spinning independently of the focus ring. I'm considering Brian Ayling's repair method.
Would anyone care to offer up opinions about the Super Takumar 50/1.4 vs. the SMC Takumar 55/1.8?
