Thanks for your kind words, and thanks to everyone else who commented. I know a few have mentioned about the spotlight (which it wasn't, but that doesn't matter). I rather like it there. Gives it even more of a "live" feeling, IMHO. I don't find it a distraction, but I know there are those who do. Chacun a son gout, I suppose. Anyway, like I said, I was quite satisfied with this one, so it's gratifying to see that others agree. One nice thing about digital is that I went and shot about 200 frames that night, something I'd rarely have done with film - not for myself, anyway. This is the first time I shot a whole gig with the *ist D with manual focus (got sick of lousy low-light AF - not that it's particular to Pentax, I don't know). That A1.7 50mm combined with the bright *istD viewfinder made it a snap. Just like the old days! ;-) Thanks again, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
