You're absolutely correct.  My point is simply that if one has limited
resources, choose proper fit (which may mean a custom-built frame) and
good-quality grouppo (smooth shifting and efficient braking are
important) over low weight.

Contrary-wise, a $10,000 ultra-lite CF frame decked out with the
latest Dura-ace that doesn't properly fit the rider is simply a
pretentious waste of money.

But, if it's within one's means, the best quality goods are always to
be preferred.
