Tim,

You probably need to get into the BIOS and _disable_ SATA Native 
Support.  Each BIOS is going to call it something different, so you may 
have to hunt around.  If that doesn't do it for you, you'll probably 
need to surf over the drive manufacturer's site and grab the drivers for 
the OS you're running.  This is a common problem with XP.
