Maybe they should be amateurs.  ;-)  

What I've really noticed is that P&S digitals are becoming shoot AND
display units, especially with those 3 inch screens.  Make those screens
as big as that on an iPhone and you're there.  The iPhone is coming from
the other side: great screen, mediocre camera.
