I was considering buying a K20D because the low noise 14.6 MP sensor is
particularly attractive. However, the review in this week's "Amateur
Photographer" was a little disappointing, particularly when referring to purple
fringing.

The review pointed out that a recent optical test of the 16-50mm f/2.8 DA lens
showed no problem of chromatic aberration, so the reviewer concluded that the
colour fringing must have come from the sensor.

Any comments? Why should I buy a DSLR with a colour fringing problem?
