Why should I buy a DSLR with a colour fringing problem? They are having QC problems with the lens you mentioned. It's pretty widely reported, I don't expect we'll be seeing any QC problems with it in a few months as new stock ships. Try to find a DSLR anwhere that doesn't dislpay some PF under certain conditions. They all do it, and it's easy to produce. Just take a picture of a subject so heavily backlit as to be unphotographable.
