If you have some time tomorrow afternoon, this should be fun (if a
little pricey)

NASA/Ames Research Lab is just a couple of miles from Santa Clara.

There's a lot to see right around here. With a half-day, you could go
to Santa Cruz via Hwy 17 early for breakfast, drive north up Highway
1 to sight see on the coastline, head back over the hills via Hwy 92
at Half Moon Bay, take a drive into Palo Alto to visit Stanford
University campus and University Avenue/downtown, then head down to
NASA/Ames for an hour or two before getting back to your hotel to
pack and head to the airport. That's about as much or more than you
have time for. (Trying to tackle 17 Mile Drive or San Francisco is
going to take more than you have time for, even just to get there and
back and have *any* time to see anything.)
