There are exceptions. I'm not entirely new, but haven't owned a Pentax since my ME was stolen years ago. My main reason for preferring Pentax over other brands is the range of good used lenses available. Nobody else is even close; 4/3 can take more lenses using adapters but does not give stop-down metering. An M8 or RD-1 takes lots of lenses, but are not priced well. I'm an amateur on a budget. Being able to pick up lenses I'd like to have but will not use often, for me anything longer than 100 or any fisheye, is a great attraction to a system. -- Sandy Harris, Nanjing, China -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
