Hmm, I'm pondering the same choice myself. I don't have any experience with either lens. I've had nothing but excellent experiences with the Sigma EX lenses: My EX300/2.8 is wonderful and the EX180/3.5 Macro is #&@^ing amazing. I expect the Pentax is a little better; the question is whether it's *enough* better to justify the big price difference... What I really want is a 10mm or 12mm prime, but no one makes one. Yet. I do own the 10-17 Fisheye and it's a really fun lens but the only reason to buy a fisheye is if you actually want to use the fisheye effect, so it's in a different class from the other two, IMO.
