G'day Cory. There are better photo sharing sites.
I've been a Flickr "pro" user for about 9 months. I still don't like the site layout (& I know many users who feel the same way) For I long time I just didn't get flickr either. However, my reason for joining & using it is because there is a very active & sociable local group of photographers. I originally found it when I was googling for info about local photography events/news. Since becoming a member of this group I've been on various photowalks, road trips, bus tours, etc. with like minded people interested in photography. Hell, my image (along with a few others) has been immortalised in a t-shirt through associating with them :-) So in short, for me, the advantage of flickr lies in it's community/social nature. Which in turn helps keep my photographic "juices" flowing. Cheers, Dave 2008/6/20 Cory Waters <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > I don't get what's so good about flickr. The pages I've seen are kinda > ugly.
