I'll have to disagree with most and say the photo itself doesn't do much 
for me.  However, photography has been used as a vehicle for political 
commentary for as long as photography has existed.  It's a legitimate 
tool for sparking debate and bringing "issues" of one sort or another 
into view (both literally and figuratively).  I would welcome 
politically charged photography to the list, even if it offended my own 
beliefs.  Besides, it would be a nice change of pace from the 
cat/flower/kid photos (not that these are bad - I'm as guilty as the 
next guy) that we see on a daily basis.
