Ok, that makes sense. I use a mail app called Powermail to download email, but can also view it on Mac web interface, although I have not set any filters on that. Powermail's filters are very good, with a separate app called Spamsieve that learns over time what is spam and what is not. Actually .Mac's spam filtering is good because of the spam that gets through to Powermail, probably about 3 dozen a week, and of only a couple miss my powermail spam filter until i tell it to 'mark as spam'. One nice thing about the iphone now is that is syncs automatically with my main computer without me doing anything. If I make an addition (on the iphone) to my contacts list, or add a web bookmark, or add an entry in my calander, it automatically syncs within a few minutes to a web interface, and to the computer, or vice versa. Don't need to manually connect phone and Mac to sync data. Seems to work well. Of course, I only have on email account set to pop through to the iphone, I don't think I could cope with PDML traffic out on the road as well!! -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
