Hi John,
I'm on my daughter's laptop now, so I can't test your hypothesis, but I will 
take you up on it later. My post eventually went through. I use the standard 
Mac mail problem and haven't had problems before, but Im going to see if my 
preferences have changed.

Gotta go shoot a wedding now. Outdoors. In 90 degree heat. Ugh.
