Mark, That sure looks like some kinf of lens flare on the highlights of the flowers. I don't know what kind of coatings you have on that achromatic diopter. Perhaps something is amiss there. I am reminded of a Christmas tree 30 years ago at a friend's home. I've always worn thick glasses of high optical quality (plastic lenses actually for weight). For some reason, all her red Christmas tree red lights showed with an orange double, somewhat offset from the originals.,,and only the red lights. I couldn't look at the tree. Seeing lights that weren't there was too disconcerting. Perhaps you've found the magic wavelength for your diopter. Regards, Bob S.
