Hi Bong I don't know about the Minolta SRT101 specifically but I have several old cameras that were originally designed to use the 625 Mercury battery. I've found that the 1.5 volt silver oxide 625 cells work OK. The higher voltage may affect the metering but not sufficient to cause problems with print film (slide film might be more sensitive but it should be possible to apply some exposure compensation).
Wein cells are zinc-air batteries that start to discharge once the protective tab is removed from the base of the cell. Standard hearing aid batteries are also zinc-air and work well. They are also much cheaper than Wein cells. The 675 hearing aid batteries come in packs of four for much the same price as a single Wein cell. They are smaller in diameter than the 625 but a bit of padding around the cell keeps them in place. Personally I wouldn't bother with the Wein cells.
