hi Doug,

the eneloops were pretty decent too since i did leave the backlight on
at moderate levels because i was stopping and entering waypoints every
once in a while. the vista hcx was pretty good. the only time it lost
the signal was when we were inside a 3-km long tunnel (of course)....

how do you sync your photos with the gps device? i never used the
garmin to geotag my photos...
