Just as an aside, one of my mandolins was made by ex-Gibson (well, ex- Flatiron) people in Montana. A few years after Gibson bought Flatiron and wanted to move the shebang to Nashville, most of the mando luthiers stayed in Montana and now make Weber mandos.
