The winding path is very nice. The lopped-off tree is rather, er,
squirm-making and slightly amusing in that they left the tiny little
twig.

The E-1 + Pentax lens seems to be a good combination - what are the
shots like close up?

I was in a Leica shop yesterday and had a look at the Panaleica
25/1.4. Nice lens, but big. They saw me admiring the M8s and we got
into conversation. They have offered to value my Contax/Zeiss kit with
a view to trading in for an M8, which might be worth pursuing.
