I was in a Leica shop yesterday and had a look at the Panaleica
25/1.4. Nice lens, but big. They saw me admiring the M8s and we got
into conversation. They have offered to value my Contax/Zeiss kit with
a view to trading in for an M8, which might be worth pursuing.
A Contax film kit would certainly take care of the cost of the cardboard
sleeve that covers the opulent case the Leica undoubtedly comes in.
