I hate it when it becomes law - too over the top. I carry a hi-vis vest that I wear when working on roads or highways - I'd rather be seen and not hit! I have heard of one photog arrested for not wearing a hi-vis when he went to the seen of an accident on a motorway (freeway). I think you'll find this law equates to members of the working press at accident scenes more than anything.
