what's the Ultron like? I'm thinking of getting the M version 28/2
Ultron. Their

what the size, build quality, focus feel etc. are like.

It's an excellent lens - reminds me of a miniature Takumar in build
quality. Metal, no slack parts, nice click stops, good focus feel.
Mounted on the camera it protrudes just shy of 2 inches out from the
body, and is exactly 2 inches in diameter. One of the larger lenses too.
Love it to bits.

I'll second what Cotty said twice over. I have the 28/1.9 too but I'm sure the new Ultron is pretty much the same. Great as a walking around lens, even better for low light work. Balances superbly well on the Epson. On the M8, I don't know, but lend yours to me and I'll tell you :)

Really odd. I don't remember liking 28mm much in film or Pentax DSLRs but on a digital rangefinder, I find it just about the sweet spot for a candid lens.
