Some lovely work there! All to a very high standard. Those that stand out for me: On Time by Bob Sullivan Brilliant composition. Perfect decisive moment.Great sharpness and colour. Knowing Bob, taken from behind the wheel ;-) Lake Mathieson and Fox Glacier by Peter McIntosh What a super landscape - serene/dramatic/atmospheric/well seen/all of the above. Great job. Honourable Mention: Footsteps by Thrain Vigfusson Great idea but for me too much and not enough depth of field. The upper footprint is trying to be soft but needs more softness, or it's trying to be sharp and needs more sharpness. Abstract Mention: Woodland by Brian Walters Not sure if I like this or not. Nice idea, and well executed but makes me shrug. Photoshop or in-camera. Should I be asking? Or should I be admiring work? Point made. YMCA Award: Changing of the Guard by Jos van der Hijden Quirky and needs a good Bee Gees number behind it :-) Pick of the month for me - Bob's train. Excellent. -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
