I think it's a combination of quicktime and your internet connection
speed. I got the same general thing, except the full color image image
loaded a lot faster than a full circuit of the image, maybe a quarter of
it. The B&W image wasn't particularly pixilated, it seemed fairly
smooth in fact.

Pau: FYI: I clicked the link, and I, too, got the pixilated BW. The
pano sharpened to color after a complete round-about the pano. When I
clicked on the stairway to go upstairs, I got pixilated BW, then
sharpened color version after a complete 360. Same with the kitchen.
My 1st thought was that something had to be up with Quick-time or the
web host you're using, but Doug's explanation seems interesting. I'm
not much help, but just wanted to let you know my experience. Other
than that, panos look good. The viewer gets a very nice idea of the
house. Cheers, Christine

Subject: OT: Need help: online panos
I'm trying to build a site that might lead to some sales of VR home
tour panos. David Savage has already helped me immensely. Now I have
a few rooms online, and a general plan. However, when my panos load
they begin as pixelate BW then sharpen up and become color. Am I the
victim of a slow server, or is it possible that I'm doing something
wrong here? (I'm sure I'm doing more than one thing wrong, but help
with this would be great:-). The panos are only about 3 meg each,
but I figure I can't go too high res with this thing if I want to
show six or seven rooms. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
