Back in the 70's I was dismayed that Pentax was moving from screw mount to
bayonet mount.  But they made an adapter that allowed use of these older
lenses to work on K mount cameras.  I still have my screw mount cameras, an
LX and an PZ1-p.  All the M-42 screw mount lenses can still be used today.
