No, not at all. Although I like the K-mount lenses, I also like the screw-mount lenses. They are a great value and allow one to get good optics at a good price, and to fill out a lens collection very inexpensively. Please see my earlier post in response to your question. You must have missed it.
As for the K28/2.0, part of my desire for it is that it seems to be hard to find. I'm a bit of a collector as well as a user, and, without a doubt, I generally prefer the feel of the K-mounts to most of the later Pentax lenses.
