Not necessarily - the camera owner may well have had the camera set
to restart numbering from IMGP0001 every time a clean card was used.
Point well taken, John. I hadn't considered that!
I assume that each individual card has it's own index and instructions on it's
identity? Which is to say, all that info is stored on the card itself, not in
the camera?
