I guess you are trying to say that it's against French and German law to provide content about a certain movie depicting a certain dictator. That could well be, I do not know French and German law as well as you do. :-)
OTOH, it could also be a precaution to avoid *possible* future lawsuits based on *interpretations* made by lawyers keen to serve some clients. Whom are also part of a legal system. In my country, it is often referred to as "american conditions" when someone try use the legal system to achieve monetary compensation for so-called personal offence. Sadly, we see more and more of it. Not to the level of nominees for any Darwin award, but catching up. :-( But again, I *do* understand the French/German stance; up to a certain point.
