Bill, I don't disagree with your basic point. And I want the 60-250
lens!
But, there are two lenses that do fall in the range you mention: the
DA* 50-135 and the DA 100 macro. I am just curious as to whether you
are dismissing these because of their quality? Or is it just a
general tirade about inadequate choices? I have the two lenses
mentioned, and am pleased with both. Except that 135 is too short...
