If Pentax would build a body designed with the same goals as the DA
Limiteds I would buy it in a second.
Yeah, but would you buy it in white ?

Yup. A blue one will be here tomorrow. :-)
The G1's EVF is the *best* viewfinder I've found for adapted lenses.
In testing at the camera shop, I fitted my Nikkor 20/3.5 on the
Nikon->FourThirds adapter, then fitted that to the G1 with the
FourThirds to micro-43 adapter. The way the viewfinder works, it is
easy to see, clearly and accurately, even with the manual iris set
at f/11 and the MF Assist magnification function allows precise and
accurate focusing even with that short a lens, at that opening, in
normal light. The metering is extremely accurate and you get a 100%
coverage view, with good magnification and full information if you
want it.
I tell ya, I'm so excited by the possibilities of this camera I
can't wait to learn it and make some photos with it.

sensor, an EVF and an overall size similar to the G1. It *might* be
too small for the big lenses but hey same mount so give it a try. :-)
Imagine a body more in proportion to the DA pancakes compared to when
they are mounted on the K10D/K20D.
