that would insure that it matches neither the black Limiteds nor the
silver ones.
It would look pretty nice, particularly with the black finished
lenses. If it was the right shade of white ...
However, a small, thin body is impossible if you are going to use the
SLR's 45mm mount register. And then you have so many more degrees of
freedom in lens design that you could make better lenses specifically
for it that weren't useable on the SLRs.
The G1's mount register is just under 20mm.
