1. The K 85/1.8 is a ~great~ lens (and not just for portraits). 2. The K 85/1.8 has a demand that greatly outstrips its supply (and goes for prices that reflect this). 3. If #2 becomes discouraging, re-read #1, and keep trying. (Just ask Shel - <g>). By the way, the optically identical SMCT 85/1.4 similarly is in great demand amongst the screwmount aficionados.
