Glad to hear it. Yes, I'm loving the Bamboo's rendering qualities for
monochrome and limited-palette images too. I made a set of gift photos
for the holidays on it and have to say it proved itself, once I
figured out how to get the R2400 to feed it properly and consistently.
(Remember that my R2400 has been in use since October 2005 and has
probably logged over 4000 prints. I expect it's a getting a little bit
worn.)
I like the Bamboo's rendering qualities so much that I'll order
another batch of it soon. Ran out during that printing run...

Tried the Bamboo, Godfrey. Very nice. Totally agree about the
warmer bw quality--very nice. Had no problem with Hahnemuhle ICC
profile and had no problem with feeding papers on the R2880--though
the paper does have a kind of after-print curl on two edges. Also
tried the Velvet Fine Art paper with color--wow--like it very much--
Epson ICC profiles working just fine now too--printed up some
portraits on Epson Luster using ICC profiles--nicely improved over
my original print settings--glad I got the ICC stuff sorted--Wow,
really, really like the Velvet Fine Art paper for color--it's nice.
Thanks for all the tips. Cheers, Christine
