The ships are indeed no problem if they're far enough. Have them in the
foreground and even while there's no wind at all these buggers always
sway slightly. But this is also a prob in conventional long-time
exposures where they'll just be blurred. 

The newer versions of Photomatix Pro automatically accomodate some kinds
of movement between individual shots. Things like leaves moving in the
wind or light reflections on water surfaces usually come out OK, albeit
a little blurred but since most people don't know what they've looked
like when the picture was taken, this usually goes unnoticed. 

Things like moving cars or pedestrians are a different thing and they
can require a lot of manual retouching work. So, they're best avoided
altogether.
