I was a heavy smoker from a long line of heavy smokers. I smoked for 20
years before (finally? I'll tell you when I'm dead) giving up about 15 years
ago. Before that I'd given up several times, included 2 separate periods of
a year each. Each time I went back to it was because I thought I could enjoy
the pleasure of a cigar in a park on a beautiful spring day, and not get
instantly addicted again.
