Would also help to ask the bride & groom before hand if they have any
specific shots they'd like.
I just wrote that in a separate more longwinded post ;-) I'd say it
is essential.

Subject: Re: Survey: Your Favorite Wedding Photos
John, there are good advices galore, so I'm just fill in some points:
It's not about our favorite photos - get the bride and groom
favorites, and add things you like. They know your pics, right?
Whatever you plan, someting different will happen. Sometimes not so
different, but keep ready to the unexpected.
Getting nervous is par for the course - you'll get over it until the
next time. Just try to keep calm and keep shooting.
Don't let your mind wander - getting the old aunt picking nose is not
more important than getting the kiss and the wedding rings.
Did I say keep calm?

The wedding I'm shooting draws closer every day, and I get more and
more nervous every time I think about it. It's just under a month
away now. I'd like to ask for a little help:
What are your favorite wedding photos? Photos you've shot, someone
has shot of you, or photos someone else shot that you've seen online.
I don't mean to flat-out copy anyone, but I need to see what people
tend to like. I'll be shooting primarily with a DA* 16-50 I got on
extended loan from a friend, if that helps.
Thanks, everyone. I cannot believe how nervous I am just writing
about this!
