I own one, Larry, had a serious problem since the Zx5 and others
detected a wrong aperture, resulting in serious overexposure. Really
soft corners wide open, and by the time the corners get sharp it's time
to think about diffraction (small aperture limitations).
At the time we had just started figuring out the Pentax Lens Code, so I
tried for a while to adjust the aperture problem - then got fed up and
shorted all the contacts and turned the damned thing into a manual
focus, non-program lens. I use it only when I fear theft or loss of gear.
At that price, it's too expensive.
