K-m for mom? What is the Japanese word for mom. or mother? I don't know. I do know it's not mama-san.

I think that's an incorrect attribution for the m, even though their marketing is skewed that way.

My 2? worth of non-sense.

I think the K-M name is intended to invoke the original KM.
