I do get bitten by the video bug about once every ten years. Usually
lasts a few months and begins and ends with a load of ebay auctions to
get and dispose of all he equipment after I've convinced myself yet
again that video and I just don't get along. Last time was 2007. So I
should be safe for a few years, now.

For the time being, I'm quite happy with photography. In fact, I hardly
ever watch TV.

Audio is a different affair. Started as a hobby in teenage years, then I
made the terrible mistake of turning it into a profession and now, 20
years after leaving broadcast radio, I'm slowly beginning to enjoy
playing with mics and WAV-recorders and all the new computer stuff that
wasn't available when we were still fighting with warped analog records
and open-reel magnetic tape (mind you, German broadcast tape reels don't
even have flanges, just bobbins - gave ever newly-posted Brit at BFBS
Cologne the creeps when they had to handle them for the first time). :-)

So, expect to see a few more photos with accompanying audio, maybe an
audio slideshow here and there.

overland tram line, back in 1990.
