I heard BBC Radio 4, and perhaps if I'd listened to the whole recording I would have heard the sounds I was listening for of white- hot slag dumping, and coke quenching. If you need them, there is a steel mill near where I used to live in West Seattle, and I could get you some sound effects. Quite loud at night, when they do most of their melting and pouring and quenching, when the power is less expensive.
