However....
I think there is a reason we both spelled it "here, here" for a long
time...
back , back, back in the 50's there was a silly litle high school joke
going around where
some guy was groping a rather under-endowed woman - perhaps on their
first date.. and the
woman , recoiling , said "hear , hear!"... the guy replied "where, where?"

Never mind, I just checked with "Ask.com" and Wikipedia indicates "hear, hear"
is the correct spelling to indicate agreement.
Now we can all go on with our lives.

Ken, I used this spelling of the term, "here,
here" sometime ago and was pummeled with spelling
correction clods. I've now seen it spelled this way a
couple times lately without noticeing (perhaps I just missed
them) any such reaction.
Wonder which it should be?

By any name, Doug's words are eloquent and
enrich
the book greatly.

thank you, C. It was fun to write.
When I asked Doug to write a few paragraphs
for
the book, his response was "Normal paragraphs or
my
paragraphs?"
I think the result was "Brewer
paragraphs" but I'm not sure.
