Yes, I think Leica need to rethink the shutter use on the M8 and M8.2. On
the M8 it cocks the shutter automatically. The M8.2 gives you the option of
not cocking the shutter until you let your finger off the button, so it goes
some way to giving you a bit more control - it's a relatively noisy shutter,
so this can matter. I think they should add a shutter-cocker to the next
camera they make, either a traditional lever or a button. They should also
make the shutter itself quieter. The Oly E-1's shutter is incredibly quiet;
the M8 makes a noise like a broken bed spring.
