To me, neither is "unethical" - just (I guess this can't be said enough) as long as , in the case of photoshopping, the perp tells us all what was done. Bob W put this much better in earlier post... with a nod to Bea Lily...
If you want truth you need to witness every event first-hand and draw your own conclusions.
