I've seen him and taken his photo before (I showed him with a friend in "Six" a couple of weeks back), but yesterday he was alone and asked me to take his photo. He's 81, and need $20 to buy him a bed in a shelter for the night. He also wanted to talk. I helped him out with a bit of change and some conversation, and he seemed quite grateful for both:
