and now for my illustration of the non-necessity of knowing how something came to existance. i won't tell what it is :) really, even wondering what is something can be considered a legitimate tought-process initiated by an abstract piece. sure, with a painting, you would not anticipate the necessity for a 'real' source material, but my stance is that it really doesn't have to matter. in the end, this could be a photograph of a painting..
